Feedback:

4.0 out of 5 stars Minor problem turning it on, but it's a good sprayer. OK, This sprayer is fine. No Leaks. Sprays very well. However, I had the darnedest time trying to turn the switch to activate it. I finally looked at a video, and after still framing it, I saw that the switch needed to go across the yellow upright tab. In order to do this I had to push the tab away from the switch, otherwise the tab prevented the switch from moving. I wish there was some mention of this in the directions.

4.0 out of 5 stars Pearls & pitfalls - worked for me, here's how I wish the company would read these reviews and put together a much better set of instructions. First, I had to read reviews to find out how to move the lever over the plastic tab to turn on the spray. Not easy to do with 63 year old thumbs, but silly not to have this in the instructions. Second, I solved the tube-falling-out problem by pinching one end several times with a pliers to soften it up (hot water might also work) - and it seated nicely in the slot where it was supposed to go (and never fell out). Third, I read in one review that you [duh] had to strain your nematode-powder-in-water mixture so it wouldn't clog the sprayer. And by golly that worked just perfectly. I did have residual clumps and lumps that I tried to smush through my strainer with mostly success.
What didn't work: I didn't understand the nematode-in-water dilution calculations or the put-food-coloring-in-a-test-run so I just filled up one container with 80% of my nematode mixture. It sucked through and distributed fine...though it was so efficient that I only did the front yard with it. I probably over-treated the front lawn (for fleas and japanese beetles) but I got the most affected areas - and it's late fall so I'll do this (and milky spore) again in the spring. Next time, I'll take the nematodes-in-water mixture and divide it up into 4 parts, one for each section of lawn. I think it will be easier to watch how quickly the level goes down and move more quickly or slowly to cover each target section.
Overall, I am "more satisfied than expected" given all the one star review. I might have gotten lucky, but I think there are ways to make this sprayer work fine. Hope this helps.

4.0 out of 5 stars Regular Hudson Sprayer With NemaGlobe Label I'm new to using nematodes, and thought this sprayer was made specifically for nematodes, but it's a regular 20 gallon hose end sprayer (made by Hudson, model 2100) with a NemaGlobe label glued on, for use with any chemical weed killer or insecticide. Peel the NemaGlobe label off to reveal the Hudson name with instructions. That said, the sprayer worked great without any leakage. It would be nice to have a handle, but it's not a big inconvenience. If you are thinking, as I did, that you need a special sprayer for nematodes, just know any decent hose end sprayer will do, and if your nematodes come shipped in any type of medium, the medium must be filtered out with painters cloth or screening (I used a kitchen strainer) after mixing the nematodes in water or it may clog the sprayer. I was also told to put a golf ball inside the sprayer to help keep the nematode solution agitated, which is a Jerry Baker tip.
